We have an obligation, do we not, as citizens, to our nation?  Is that obligation not exampled by our obligation to the President of our nation -- to speak the truth about him and so further the cause of democracy and a free society?

Perhaps there is no more divisive moral issue in our nation than how we, as individuals, view our obligations to respect and be proud of either Bill Clinton or George W. Bush.  For, in our view of either of these two men do we show our view of some half of all our fellows!

Is there any position on this issue other than one, or the other, but not "in the middle?"  Is that not usually true of moral issues? That they are often cut and dried to each of us, even when each differs from the other?

President George W. Bush has done more to destroy the morality of this country than any other President in history.  His personal fit of anger has led this nation onto far-flung, foreign fields of death half a planet away -- in Iraq and Afghanistan.  He has gutted the civil rights protections it took this society so many hundreds of years to build.

President Bill Clinton has done more to destroy the morality of this nation than any other President in history.  His personal and sexual greed, lieing under oath and immorality have sunk half the nation into foolishly following him to the dump.

I don't care for either of the above two choices -- they are too extreme. I do not Wish To Vote on them, but am willing to give my opinion on this issue below.
