Structure Of The Web Site

This web site is organized around one of the twenty one "precepts" contained in the The Way To Happiness® book.  This precept has the short title of:

Fulfill Your Obligations

The simple way of viewing this Precept is to think about YOU, an individual person, having and fulfilling obligations to others.  "Others" is then divided into the following categories:

• Self

• Family

  • Spouse (or partner)

  • Children

  • Parents

  • Other Family

• Groups

  • Your local groups

  • Any other group

  • The country you live in

  • Any country

  • Your racial or ethnic group

  • Any racial or ethnic group

• Mankind

• All living things (including Man, Animals, Plants)

• The Physical Universe

• The Spiritual Universe

• God

"Self" is included above because you can see that "you" have an obligation to "yourself," as when you recognize that you have an obligation to brush your teeth, and take care of your health.

However, it is also helpful to look at the "obligations" that others have toward YOU!

In other words, the first list, above, indicates that "you" have an obligation to "groups," and there could be many different groups to which you have different types of obligations.

It is also true that any of these groups, as a group, has some sort of obligation toward YOU.

There could be a complexity of even further relationships, such as the obligation of "one group toward another," and so there is virtually an infinite number of relationships among individuals and groups on this planet.

The "drop down menu" is organized, also, around the above categories, so you can easily find the TYPE of obligation you might like to review.

This web site was developed and published to HELP you to be happier in life -- you will find that one of the central ways of achieving happiness, yourself, is to work toward bringing happiness to others.  So, there are two more/ major categories of organization:
