You may well have a desire to help, but think that all the "bad people" will not listen to your lesson on morality?  Well, that is very probably true.  The people we read about, or see on TV -- the bad actors, are usually stars or celebrities, or executives -- that's what makes the news.

But, for every Kobe Bryant who cheated on his wife, may or may not have raped that woman, and who is still adored by millions of fans, there is a "child next door" who is looking UP at Kobe as a role model.  The mother there needs some help in getting the kid's values straightened out.

You have no trouble SEEING what is in front of you -- living next door.  Do you slink inside and do nothing?  Or, do you do something?

That problem is within your reach, but NOT with a frontal attack on neighbor mom's virtues.

If you just lecture her, or the kid, you get nowhere!

So, this morals campaign is very "gentle."  If you just give the mother, without accusing her of being a bad mother, some simple common sense moral code information, and if you do that enough times in your neighborhood, SOME mothers will change.

You don't, then, badger her, or keep asking, "Did you read that book?  Is Johnny a 'good boy' now?"

Don't take a loss because ONE kid doesn't change -- the game of improvement in morals is a quantity game -- you have to reach hundreds, maybe thousands, before you will reach the ONE who is ready for your message.

But, if you DON'T reach that one person, he or she can fall back in the morass of despair.

You don't clean up the immorality on this planet overnight, and you don't particularly have to start with the top people.

Next door to you, on the street "over there" are people who are looking for answers on a common sense moral code.

You have found it! They have not!  Can you share your knowledge?
